Marley & Sky’s Big Hill Race

This story is about both dogs going on an adventure. This adventure starts as a “race” to the top of the big hill, with Marley rushing off on his own intent on getting there first.

Sky on the other hand, takes it slowly enjoying the flowers and the wildlife she finds along the way. Marley soon realises that going too quickly makes him tired, and that he misses out on spending the journey with his friend, as a result he decides to complete the journey together. He learns that sometimes it is better to slow down and enjoy things together rather than rushing off on his own.

The intention of the story is to give a fun story about adventure and friendship but with a hidden message to explain that sometimes going too fast means you miss out on some wonderful experiences and that perhaps going slow in life is better.
